Dr. Sarah Neisius

Dr. Neisius spent most of her childhood growing up in Wichita, KS. She attended Kansas State University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Neisius joined the Indian Hills Animal Clinic team in July of 2006. In January of 2013, she purchased the practice and has balanced her time as a veterinarian and owner- focusing on building strong and caring relationships with our clients, staff and community colleagues. Dr. Neisius’ professional interests include soft tissue surgery, endoscopy, dentistry and internal medicine. She is a member of the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, The American Heartworm Society, The International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and The American Association of Feline Practitioners. In 2012, Dr. Neisius started a 6-year term as a member of the board of directors for the Kansas Humane Society. In 2024, she began a second 6-year term. Dr. Neisius enjoys giving back to the Wichita community and ensures that the teams at IHAC have multiple opportunities to do so- creating our own Outreach Team that volunteers with multiple organizations throughout the year- including Operation Holiday, Woofstock, Project Care, serving at the Lords Diner, Calvary UMC’s Adopt-a-family and by participating in Wichita’s Justice Together organization. When not at work, you’ll catch Dr. Neisius supporting the Friends University Baseball team, coached by her husband, Adam.
